Sam Berry-Sullivan is an academic librarian at a doctorate granting institution who stumbled into librarianship very much by happenstance, and still marvel regularly at how incomprehensibly lucky I am to have found a profession that challenge, nourishes, and accommodates me. As a queer, neurodivergent person I understand how critical it is to serve students and faculty who do and don’t share my identities. As a white, able bodied, straight-passing, cis-passing person, I am excited to leverage my privilege to serve the profession as a whole.
